Posted by Patricia on August 25th 2015

Age UK Somerset is pleased to confirm that a Yoga, Stretch and Flex class will be starting in Langport with help and funding from South Somerset District Council. A participant from a previous session said ‘the stretch, breathe and relax sessions help keep my hip joints and my lower back flexible in a safe and gentle way’. The leader says ‘this session stretches and tones your body, helping to make you stronger and more flexible whilst improving your breathing. This will help you to relax and sleep better’. ‘It’s not strenuous, it’s about breathing and relaxing and stretching, you’ve got to make a commitment to yourself’ No previous experience necessary. Come along and make new friendships. Sessions cost £3.50 and will run on a Monday morning starting 7th September 2015 from 9.30 – 10.30am at Great Bow Wharf. For further details of this and other classes available across Somerset, contact Di Ramsay 01823 345626, email dianne.ramsay@ageuksomerset or visit our website www.ageuksomerset.org.uk.
